Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at 2:46pm Engel & Völkers Austin

With it already feeling a little like Fall weather (be it short lived) now is the best time to look ahead at the handful of amazing music and art festivals happening across Austin and one of our favorite hipster hideways Marfa.  We all know Austin has its fair share of festivals and live music runs through our blood, and Fall is one of the best examples of all the amazing events Austin has to offer.  Below we've highlighted a few of our favorite festivals from Austin City Limits Festival to the Trans-Pecos Festival of Music and Love.

Trans-Pecos Festival 2017 (Sept. 28th-October 1st)

This is a weekend-long adventure of live music, camping, sandlot baseball, stars, workshops, art installations and community in the majesty of Marfa, Texas. Set your compass, adventure awaits, says the Trans-Pecos Festival website.  Buy tickets and get more info about this festival here.

Austin City Limits Festival (Oct. 6-8th & 13th-15th)

As usual ACL Festival has brought out an array of musicians now spanning two weekends.  This year's headliners include Jay-Z, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, Chance The Rapper and many many more!  Find out more about the lineup and event here. This

Sound on Sound Fest  (November 10-12)

This newcomer to the Central Texas festival circuit has brought in a big and varying lineup to peak interest!  The festival features 3 Days Of Music, Camping & Adventure At A Medieval-Style Village Located In The Lost Pines Forest, 35 Miles From Austin.  Check out more on this festival and see the full lineup here.

UtopiaFest

Now in it's ninth year this Hill Country festival invites festival goers to embrace the outdoors and camp while enjoying the many amazing artists that make the trek 3 hours outside of Austin each year.  UTOPiAfest is a unique campout festival in Utopia, TX offering mind-blowing musical performances and West Texas Hill Country sunsets. Presented in a natural amphitheater on the 1,000-acre Four Sisters Ranch.  Find out more about the event, lineup and tickets here.
